Dinupa Kodagoda is an alumnus of Kalabhumi and represents its 3rd generation of resource personnel.

Dinupa started her career as a dancer in her early childhood. At the age of 4, she joined the Nanda Malini Sangeethashramaya to learn Singing. While Studying at St. Joseph’s Girls' School Nugegoda, she enrolled at Kalabhumi in 1998 to study Sri Lankan Low country dance and learnt under the distinguished tutelage of Mrs. Beatrice Weerasinghe and Mr. Sanath Abeykoon. Later on she went on to study Hindustani Classical Music under Mrs. Manjula Seneviratne.

In 2001, she was selected to perform in the popular children's TV music programme "Hapan Pedura". While she was gaining knowledge and experience, she had the opportunity to be a member of the Dr. Premasiri Khemadasa Foundation, where she received training and worked as a Vocalist.

Dinupa was selected to follow an undergraduate study programme at the University of Visual & Performing Arts where she studied ‘Kathak’ dance and went on to earn the degree of Bachelor of Performing Arts (special).

Dinupa has been an active member of the THEEVRA Performing Arts Ensemble since 2008 and has contributed with her skills as a Choreographer, Dancer, Vocalist as well as a Vocal coach. As a Vocalist, she's been able to gain skills in a variety of music styles such as Folk, Fusion, Contemporary, Rock & Pop etc.

Dinupa was selected to follow the study programme at the University of Visual & Performing Arts where she studied ‘Kathak’ dance and went on to earn the degree of Bachelor of Performing Arts (special).

Dinupa received the ‘Best Actress’ award in the State Drama Festival 2017. Currently Dinupa is working as a Performing Artist in the fields of Music, Dance, Theatre, and Film. She also serves as a Voice training instructor at Kalabhumi.
